Outlaw Witch: I'm Lady Kali Tara, and I'm happy that you found me. My husband and I lead a quiet life in Southern Oregon with our dog and cat. It's really the lifestyle and the sense of calm that serve as the impetus for my book, and the reason that I write. I truly believe that when you find your center, and a sense of inner peace, life makes sense and stressors dissipate. I found my spiritual path, and with the tools learned, created the life I want to lead. I've been a practicing Wiccan for over twenty years now, and during this time I've completed my graduate studies, raised a family, taught high school English, and been a productive member of society. It's not Hollywood's version of a witch's life, but it's real. Currently, I teach and lecture largely to dispel the misconceptions associated with the Wiccan religion. I think it's a very individual path and I'm happy to share my experience. Take from it what you will, and use any and all aspects that suit you. It's about defining your beliefs and integrating what works for you. I hope that reading about Wicca is but one stop on your fantastic spiritual journey. Be curious, learn, and love the life you live.
